GLOW has been approved, which is a dance that is diverging from the formal trend that homecoming and prom have. This is the first dance that that boys and girls will not need a date nor stress about the dress and giant dinner. Forget the corsage and swap it out for some neon bracelets.
The dress code is typically white or any neon colors and it would be garments that one wouldn’t mind getting neon paint all over. There will be a paint station within the gym and students will not be permitted to come into the gym pre-painted up.
Ticket prices have not been confirmed just yet, but students will not have to pay any additional fees once they have entered the dance. Students are welcome to bring their own glow sticks, although they will be provided to everybody that enters the dance.
This will be the school’s first informal dance and many students have reacted positively about the idea and it seems to be highly anticipated.
