Preparing for their District Leadership Conference, DECA Club’s marketing student’s are preparing and working hard to have as many winners as possible.
“I expect a lot of DECA students to win and earn a spot at states,” said Ms. Brandon
Ms. Brandon expects a lot of winners due to the new software Colonial Forge purchased this year.
“In years past Northern Virginia would scoop up a lot of wins due to a software they had access to. But now that our students have it, I expect a lot more wins,” said Ms. Brandon.
After Districts, DECA will be moving onto states, then hopefully to their biggest competition: International Career Development Conference, which will be held in Anaheim, California.
“DECA was created to help develop tomorrow’s business leaders of the world. And I hope our students take something out of the club and apply it one day to the real world,” said Ms. Brandon.
