As the years progress, technology and medicine continues to grow in experience and prestige. COVID-19,   the disease that  locked down an entire planet and forced everyone in their homes has made a comeback. As a result new vaccination shots and prescriptions have been made and administered. However, some people believe that these vaccinations are pointless.

However, according to Awranoos Dadgar, a medical student at Colonial Forge High School (‘26) she believes that “ COVID-19 was dangerous, it was new and hurt a lot of families but it’s not as dangerous when first came out,” Dadgar Said. 

This goes to show that the original breakout of the disease was  on par with with the black plague.Many peoples lives were affected by the pandemic and with a new vaccination, even more lives could potentially be altered.

Especially in the field of sports, as Mr.Mulvaney, a soccer coach at Colonial Forge High School states ”If the players are required to get [the shot]  then players would drop,”.

The COVID-19 bacterium was life altering and changed everything from business and politics and medicine. 

 Ms. Clinger, a health and medical teacher at Colonial Forge High School said  “We need to relook at how these vaccines are made and we can’t ignore side effects,”.

It is important to monitor the growth of most diseases to make sure that these types of things never happen.
