Biden administration wind farm plans

Recently, the Biden Administration announced a new plan that would cover the United States coastline with wind turbines. This announcement comes after the Biden administration approved the Vineyard Wind project earlier this year.

This will be the first major offshore wind farm  built off the coast of Massachusetts.

It is uncertain when construction will begin because approval is still needed from the state, local, and environmental groups, though it is expected to be complete by 2025.

Currently, areas are being reviewed along the West and East coast, if the turbines get grants for the land and construction is complete, these turbines will produce enough electricity to power 10 million homes. The Biden administration continues to take steps to fulfill this promise with the new wind farm plans, as they hope to cut the usage of fossil fuels by 52% by 2030.
