The Colonial Forge Tennis season is upon us. This season, spring sports play districts before counties. Last year the matches got rained out so they decided to put districts first this year. They had the first match of the season on March 11.

The players spent the off season preparing for their matches.  “The off season was good,” Corinne Wong (’20) said. “I practiced two times a week. Also, the team is looking very good.”

Despite hopeful attitudes going into the match, varsity tennis lost 2-7 at quarter finals against Massaponax.

Sam Bryan (’19),  who won his match 10-1, said “I actually think we did really well; I just think we need to have more outburst.”

The Eagles have another match on Thursday, March 28, against Brooke Point.
