Boys Lacrosse slips past Stafford

Patrick Strong, Editor

A slow start against a historically inferior team didn’t faze the Boys Lacrosse team on Monday night as they eventually pulled out a hard fought win 11-7 over the Stafford Indians.

Sam Duggan (‘19) led the way for the Eagles pouring in nearly half of the scoring effort with five goals for the game. VMI commit, Tyler Howard (‘19) and Bridgewater commit, Sam Sharps (‘19) added two apiece as the Eagles pulled away late for their seventh win in seven games this year.

The Eagles, who also advanced to 4-0 in district play with the win, will return to the field next Monday at home against Mountain View.
