Baseball set to take on Ocean Lakes

Varsity Baseball is set to make their first state tournament appearance in eleven years.

A surprise regional semifinal matchup against Clover Hill opened the door for the Eagles to return to the tournament.

With that 6-5 victory last Tuesday, the Eagles punched their ticket and are now set to go on the road tomorrow to take on Ocean Lakes.

With a trip to Virginia Beach ahead, the team is ready to take on what is likely their toughest test of the whole season in the 16-7 Regional Champion Dolphins.

With a win on Tuesday, the Eagles could move onto a state semifinal berth in the routinely brutal Class 6 State Playoffs.
