On Monday May 9, The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team destroyed Massaponax Panthers 23-2 in their final game of the regular season, which was also on senior night. To kick off their Senior Night the four seniors on the team and their senior manager all lined up at mid-field and walked through a tunnel of the JV and Varsity players cheering them on, along with their parents and siblings walking by their sides.

Within the first minute Faith Piser (‘22) scored a goal. Forge scored four goals within the first five minutes of the game. By the end of the first half the girls were crushing the Panthers 18-2.

Goalie Kimberly “Kimmy” Tlapa (‘22) ended the season with over 80 saves.

Ending the season with 244 goals and with a record of 13-1, Forge tied with Mountain View so the coaches did a coin toss and Forge ended up losing. That means that Mountain View got first chair in the county and Forge has the second.

“I think we’ll do good as a team today, I think it’ll be good preparation for the oncoming playoff season. I’m pretty nervous actually because I feel like I need to do well on”- Elizabeth “Lizzy” Kaag (‘25).
